Once was a man, a pilgrim
Who set out to the lands,
Slow and steady, with some of what he had,
Set out to search that, 'something' never received before,
What this world had never, to offer.
Country to Country, ship by ship
But only was in the world, diped,
No-one who could give,
No-one who actually had,
That 'something' that could make him glad.
Then passed by, a man as in snow robed, said,
"What is it you look for?"
Said he,"All I want is that which this they will never have"
He, robed as in snow said, "Here's a name" and carried away.
A name so sweet,
A name so gentle,
Never was heard before,
No one worthy to posses,
The name that is, Jesus!
As sweet as honey,
As pure as the lamb,
Reverence made him taste it,
Tasted and found that it is good.
The pilgrim cried,
"Let the name be, as I cannot limit it,
Share it and not keep it from"
Because the name is the name of the groom,
The groom who makes a delay,
The pilgrim realized, "I better prepare, I still have some time left today.
Now that he knew that the name had that 'something,,
'Something' which the world can not offer,
The lamb that gave his life.
At the end of his life he was when he realized,
"It's always, always have been better 'late', than 'never' "
So come on in,
The ships that rolls over the storm,
The storm of his wrath, knocks at the door,
Come in through the way,
The way that is Jesus,
You may be "Late",
Let it not be "Never"!
